You are cordially invited to attend this very important fund raising party. The party will include a buffet of Middle Eastern food and an Arabic music band. All the money generated will be used to remodel the ADS center. The work already started in the basement and already looking beautiful!!

The event will take place on Saturday, March 20, 2010 at 6:30 PM at the ADS center.

Here is copy of the letter you should have received by mail:

Dear ADS members,

We are writing this letter with the purpose to inform you that the remodeling of our ADS basement has begun! We are also happy to inform you that part of the money used to fund this project came from our efforts to rent the center. We raised a total of $8,000!

This is an update of what has been done so far and what we plan to do next:

1) The basement was completely sprayed to eliminate any existing mold, dried using a power fire machine, and then dry locked painted
2) New drop ceiling tiles with a new fan were installed
3) New ceramic tiles to cover all the basement, hallway, and bathrooms
4) New library to store the books that we already have, made with beautiful shelves and two French doors
5) The two women and men bathrooms will be remodeled completely
6) The whole basement and hallway walls will be painted with a high quality paint
7) A dehumidifier to remove the excessive moisture was purchased and installed in the wall to keep the basement dry and safe for our children
8) Repairing the spout down gutters outside and filling the gaps around the exterior walls of the whole building to completely stop any leakage that may occur to the basement

In addition to the work mentioned above –which is still in progress- we are planning to move up to the main hall and do the following:

1) Remodel the bathroom upstairs completely by installing new cabinets and ceramic tiles on the floor
2) Remodel the kitchen by covering all the floor with ceramic tiles and paint the ceiling
3) Repair all the cracks on the main hall walls and crown molding
4) Paint the entire center and all the exterior doors

We would like you to be assured that this is a high quality job. We purchased the best materials and most importantly, we managed to secure labor for this project, from a licensed contractor, at a very discounted price.

As we mentioned before we are starting this project with the $8,000 collected from the rentals. However, to complete everything as planned, we’ll need approximately another $10,000.

We are counting on your support to complete this important project to keep our center looking beautiful! We kindly request your presence for a fund raising party on Saturday March 20, 2010 at 6:30pm. We are counting on 100% participation from our community. At that time we can show you the work already being done.
